Dr. Ramesh is an expert in the field of family businesses with practical experience in resolving deep-rooted conflicts, navigating the tensions of family succession processes, involving the next generation in management, and building a future and legacy for multiple generations. Additionally, Dr. Ramesh provides executive coaching services to C-suite executives worldwide and serves on the board of directors of several companies. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Singapore Management University (SMU) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Monash University, Australia.
Over the past few decades, Dr. Ramesh's passion for empowering women to overcome barriers and power structures to assume roles related to decision-making, leadership, and business has impacted thousands of women and men worldwide. She has been recognized by Asia Week as one of the most powerful women in Asia and honored by Barrier Breakers as an exemplary woman breaking barriers.
She has also been featured in publications by the Secretary-General's Office for the Common Good as a typical figure of women's entrepreneurial spirit. Her foundational and notable activities in empowering women have made her a beloved inspirational speaker. As a consultant expert for UNDP/UNOFEM, she has participated in a gender-inclusive business development project in North Korea.
In addition to her book writing, podcast production, teaching, and consulting activities, Dr. Ramesh currently leads Talent Leadership Crucible (TLC), a consulting firm specializing in the Asia region. TLC specializes in helping individuals transition from individual activities to collaborative teamwork to create beneficial outcomes for individuals, organizations, and the future - known as "The Collective Advantage™️." Dr. Ramesh was born in Sri Lanka, educated in Singapore, Australia, and the United States, and currently resides with her family in Singapore or Vietnam.
As a serial entrepreneur, Dr. Ramesh has successfully raised millions of dollars from venture capital funds, established regional offices, managed corporate mergers, handled public offering filings, and overseen the dissolution of failed businesses.
Through many personal and professional challenges in life, Dr. Ramesh believes that when one becomes aware of how a crisis begins, there is space to learn from those challenges.
